Girls Ages 10 - 11 Development Centre

The Junior Girls Development programme is for players in 10th and 11th grade who want to improve their football skills, enjoy being challenged, and grow in confidence. Sessions are designed to be positive and supportive, providing a structured environment where players can learn, develop, and enjoy the game with friends.
This programme caters to players at different stages — from those still building consistency, to those with experience seeking greater challenge. Coaching supports learning at multiple levels, encouraging players to stretch themselves, develop strong habits, and deepen their understanding of the game.
Our professional coaches will focus on technical skills, decision-making, and game awareness through engaging, game-based practices. Players will work on ball mastery, passing and receiving under pressure, movement and positioning, and small-sided games that promote creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. This is the very first step to fast-forward into our Girls and Women's Development pathway.

Where this fits in our pathway
The Junior Girls Development programme sits within Hibiscus Coast AFC’s player development pathway and provides a strong foundation for future progression — while still prioritising enjoyment, connection, and playing with friends.
The programme is designed to:
-
Support players alongside their regular team football, allowing them to train and learn with friends while continuing to develop together
-
Help players increase their skill level, confidence, and game understanding in a positive, low-pressure environment
-
Develop strong habits and a love for learning that support long-term participation in football
-
Prepare players who may wish to progress into future development opportunities as they move into older grades
Progression is based on development, readiness, and enjoyment of the game. Players can grow at their own pace, whether their goal is to keep playing socially with friends or to challenge themselves further within the club pathway.
