Hibiscus Coast AFC is proud to actively support girls’ football, with teams from ages 4–17. We provide girls-only teams and leagues, ensuring girls have strong pathways from junior through to senior football while developing skills, confidence, and a love of the game.
Girls-only football is fun, inclusive, and designed for every ability, from first kicks to competitive youth teams.

Girls Football Pathway
Age Group Format Notes
| 4–7 | Coast Kickers | Small-sided games | Girls-only teams can run depending on registration numbers; focus on play, skill development, and fun |
| 8–9 | Coast Juniors | 7-a-side | Mixed or girls-only teams |
| 10–12 | Girls Junior Teams | 7-a-side (10th/11th) / 9-a-side (12th) | Compete in dedicated girls leagues; Saturday mornings - Pathway to Talent development starts |
| 13–14 | Girls Youth Teams | 9-a-side | Girls-only league, Saturday mornings; age-appropriate field and goal sizes |
| 15–17 | Girls Youth Teams | 11-a-side | Girls-only league, full-sized fields; Saturday mornings |
| 18+ | Senior Women’s Teams | 11-a-side | Pathway to adult football, competitive and social options |

Competition: Northern Football Federation (girls-only leagues)
Match Format & Pitch Setup

10–11 years: 7-a-side, half-sized fields, 4 m × 2 m goals

12–14 years: 9-a-side, three-quarter-sized fields (13th Grade girls may play smaller field depending on league)

15–17 years: 11-a-side, full-sized fields with full goals
These formats follow Whole of Football 2.0 guidance, ensuring age-appropriate, inclusive football.
