Term 4 Junior Development Teams Program – Hibiscus Coast AFC

Overview
Hibiscus Coast AFC is excited to launch the Term 4 Junior Development Teams Program. This initiative is designed to support the growth and progression of our junior players, providing a pathway into our development teams. The program also plays a key role in supporting the selection process for the 2026 season.

Purpose
The Term 4 Junior Development Teams Program aims to deliver high-quality training to enhance the technical, tactical, and physical abilities of junior players. It is intended for players committed to their football development and aspiring to progress to higher levels.

This program will:

• Deliver targeted training sessions in preparation for the 2026 season.

• Assist coaching staff in identifying players ready to join the development teams.

• Focus on individual skill development, teamwork, and game understanding to prepare players for higher competition levels.

Program Details

• Start Date: First week of October

• End Date: First week of December (8 weeks)

• Training Frequency: Twice a week (dates and times to be confirmed)

• Location: Hibiscus Coast AFC training grounds (or other specified location)

• Age Group: U9 – U12 (eligibility based on current age group)

Key Focus Areas

• Technical Skills: Dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control

• Tactical Understanding: Positioning, decision-making, and game awareness

• Physical Development: Speed, agility, and endurance

• Team Play: Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership on and off the field

Term 4 Fees

• $172.50 incl GST / $150 + GST

Please note: Winter season registration fees are separate.

Selection Process for 2026 Season
Players participating in the Term 4 Development Teams Program will be evaluated by our experienced coaching staff during training and matches. These evaluations will support decisions regarding selection for the 2026 development teams.
